The contribution of Sudanese mango in the European market
reached 16300 ton with a price $ 600-700 $/ton.

Sudan is characterized by production of vegetables in the winter
season ,this period is suitable to meet the highest demand in
European market during December and February.

Galia melon :
§ Produced during December and February.
§ Average production 8 tons/fed(60% of it for export and 40% for
local consumption).
§ Preferred for the Arabic markets especially during Ramadan
fasting month.
§ In the EU for Christmas and New Year festivals and occasions.
§ Average price FOB $500-5500 $/ton.
Green Beans:
The demand in West European markets reaches 75 thousand tons
values 125 million Euros.
The main markets are :France ,U.K and Holland .(the production
from Dec-March).
The average production is 6 tons/fed,80% for export and 20% for
local consumption.
With high revenue.
The F.O.B price is 600$/ton.
Onions :
The European imports reach 271 million tons with value of 721
thousand Euros.
The production is 10tons/fed, 60% for export and 40% for local
markets.
The common European markets are Holland ,U.K ,Germany and
Belgium .
The Arabic markets are KSA,Gulf area, besides Ethiopia, and
Eritrea .
The F.O.B Port Sudan price is $300-350$/ton.
Sweet Pepper:
The European imports 59 thousand tons valued 60 million Euro.
The major importing countries are: Germany, Austria, France and
Holland.
The average production 6tons/fed, 80% for export, 20% for local
markets.
Aubergins(egg plants)
The European demand is 2.7 thousand tons. With cost of 3 million
$.
The major importing countries are: Germany and Austria.
The average yield is 10 tons per fed,80% for export and 20% for
local markets.
